Under the Sky – Olha Mosieieva – 12″ x 16″ – Acrylic on Canvas

Olha Mosieieva

Olha Mosieieva lives in San Antonio, Texas where she finds constant inspiration for her artwork. The poem below reflects her view of art. There’s Beauty All Around Us All around us there is beautyOn the leaves of Nature’s book,And while in the path of dutyOught we not at them to look? Oh, why should we within a fieldOf fresh blooming roses rareSee but the thorns that’re half-concealedUnderneath the blossoms fair? While daily through the world we moveWith duty’s path around us,Let’s train our eyes to see and loveThe beauties that surround us. — Effie Waller Smith (1879–1960)
