Rocio Villarreal

Originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León, and currently based in San Antonio, Texas, I am a painter passionate about exploring the diverse language of visual art. My work ranges from figurative to abstract, embracing styles such as realism, impressionism, and expressionism, always with a personal approach that seeks to connect with human emotion and experience.

I primarily work with acrylic and oil, mediums that allow me to experiment with texture, color, and form to express both the tangible and the intangible. Each piece is a journey—sometimes introspective, other times inspired by my surroundings and the people in my life. Through my art, I aim to provoke aesthetic and emotional reflection, creating a visual dialogue that goes beyond words.
