Longtime friends in the San Antonio underground art and music scene, Mike Nesloney at MN OIL and Kim Anguiano, (alias) Coco, create edgy pop art renditions in the new "Fusion" art pieces. The new works are described as a playful gesture among each other's friendship in this collaboration. Insight of life and style reflects in the subjects' creative identities with the overall design. Mike's signature portraiture is influenced by impressionism art with the admiration of Claude Monet. You can see in the brush strokes in his portraits, the expression in the subjects eyes draw you in with their story. The visual dynamics of adding pop art with abstract expressionism by Kim Anguiano adds a flare of added character with razzle dazzled personality. Both artists have had exhibitions in multiple galleries throughout San Antonio, receiving recognition for their art. MN Oil was selected for a portrait of former Spurs member, whereas he met Kawhi Leonard in a charity event at the Ronald Mc Donald house in 2018.
